Working Environment

MEAN WELL EUROPE first settled at the Spinnerij Amstelveen with rental house in May 2006. Pretty soon this location was too small for the company. At renewal of the municipality's yard at Langs de werf, appeared to release the last land we could build with warehouse facility. It was the opportunity to realize our own building and fulfilled the wish with 4000 square meter land. The building project started from 2011 and in Sep. 2012 the company moved to new building. With innovative architectural technics, isolation and climate system, the building provides a healthy, secure and efficient work environment.

Employee's activities-Welfare committee events

Welfare committee organizes diverse events such as family trips, celebrations of special holidays, company dinners, sport events etc. to support the welfare of employees.

Charity events

MEAN WELL EUROPE organizes charity events in local society regularly and to follow one of MW important principles“feedback to society".  In 2012 MW sponsored the purchasing of the Plus mobile of Brentano for transporting the elderly. Furthermore, in 2014 our employees cooked a dinner for 100 elderly with “Nieuw Vredeveld Amstelveen”. This idea comes originated from Asian tradition, which is to show respect to elderly with culture exchanges in food and thought. In 2013 MW is also sponsor of the G-hockey for disabled people of Amstelveen hockey club Myra. For all the G-hockeyers MW employees prepared a delicious buffet meal to celebrate their 15 years anniversary in 2015.
