Last week, the MEAN WELL EMEA Distributor Conference 2024 took place in Amstelveen, in the Netherlands. Distributors from Europe and the Middle East gathered for three days filled with valuable insights and engaging activities. The event began with a welcoming dinner, setting a warm and inviting tone. The following days featured meetings, interactive demonstrations and the cultural celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival. This annual event brought together the EMEA partners and MEAN WELL, showcasing SDG Group’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

During the conference, Jerry Lin, founder of the SDG Group, appreciated the long-term partnerships and outlined SDG Group's vision for a sustainable future through industry alliances. Seeing Green Energy Market as opportunity, Coleman Liu, General Manager of MEAN WELL Europe, introduced the new NTN- 5k and power solution. Beside the exhibition of the latest products, MEAN WELL Europe technical team prepared demonstration of VFD, DALI, and KNX. The highlight of the meeting was the demonstration of the NTN-5K and CMU2E, in the form of mobile power stations, showcasing their solar and MPPT integration capabilities along with lithium battery solutions. Lively discussions during the meetings and coffee breaks allowed all the participants to exchange valuable feedback, strengthening the collaborative spirit between MEAN WELL and its partners.


The final day featured the Dragon Boat Event at De Poel in Amstelveen. This exciting event provided both entertainment and a cultural experience, with booths offering Taiwanese traditions such as pinball, tea ceremonies and calligraphy. Attendees also enjoyed traditional Taiwanese gastronomy and festive food, including Zongzi (rice dumplings).
The notable moment of the day was MEAN WELL Europe's victory in the dragon boat race, making their first win in this thrilling competition. This achievement added to the camaraderie and excitement among the participants.
The MEAN WELL EMEA Distributor Conference 2024 was a success, combining business insights with cultural enrichment. The event strengthened relationships with distributors and underscored MEAN WELL's forward-thinking approach to industry challenges.
