MEAN WELL has announced the introduction of 8W regulated single/dual output DC/DC converter – SCW08 / DCW08 series – for the growing demands of low cost and miniature size applications. With DIP packaging, these 8W products maintain the same size as original 3W products ( 1.25” x 0.8” x 0.48” ) and can still work at full load under 60°C of ambient temperature. SCW08 and DCW08 series are designed to comply with the standard pin assignment in the market that offers a better choice for users who has cost and space concerns. Standard features include 2:1 wide input range, 1000VDC input / output isolation, low ripple noise, low cost, CE / FCC compliance, and short circuit/overload protection. Besides, the five-sided shield metal case can significantly enhance their EMC characteristics that make them suitable for industrial control, telecom/datacom, and distributed power architecture related applications.
